Happymami wasn't born from a brilliant idea.
It was born from a wound.
From seeing how, time and again, mothers with desire, with commitment, with all the love in the world… ended up losing their breastfeeding journey.
And not for lack of effort.
They lost it because they didn’t have real solutions when they needed them most.
Because they had to supplement.
Because of returning to work.
Because of a weight loss.
Because of a bottle that broke everything they had built.
I am Manuel Fernández, midwife.
I have accompanied hundreds of women in their pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
And if there’s one thing you don’t forget, it’s the look in a mother’s eyes when her breastfeeding journey slips away. Cwhen she needs help, but can’t find it. When all she receives is guilt, confusion, and a bottle that doesn’t work.
Happymami is born there.
Not to offer just another bottle.
But to design a tool that truly supports. That doesn’t replace, that doesn’t put at risk. That adapts to each mother’s breast, as if saying:
“I’m here to help you, without breaking anything.”
Together with a team of midwives and engineers, in 2019, we decided to create the first bottle designed to fit each mother’s breast and her baby’s actual suction.
Because not all breasts are the same.
Nor do all babies suck the same way.
Nor do all stories need the same thing.
And yet, for decades, there has been an attempt to impose a single type of bottle on all families.

- But only 24.7% maintain breastfeeding at six months (INE 2022).
- The majority of mothers (75%) use a bottle at some point.
- More than 50% of those who use a generic bottle… lose their breastfeeding journey.

Manuel Fernández
Founder of Happymami · Midwife in a public hospital · Specialist in breastfeeding and infant nutrition
For more than a decade, Manuel Fernández has accompanied childbirths, postpartum periods, and breastfeeding journeys through his work as a midwife in a public hospital in the Valencian Community.
A specialist in breastfeeding and infant nutrition, he is part of the Breastfeeding Committee of Health Department 16 and coordinates a team of midwives that offers personalized support to mothers throughout the country.
With more than 100,000 mothers supported through the project, Manuel has become a national reference in the protection of breastfeeding, in real clinical practice when a bottle is needed or wanted. His approach, based on evidence and respect for each story, has been shared at maternity and breastfeeding conferences throughout Spain.
Manuel defends a way of feeding that doesn’t confront: that accompanies.
That’s why Happymami is not just a bottle. It is the result of thousands of real stories, listened to carefully and transformed into a solution made with meaning.
Noelia Planells
Delivery Room Coordinator · Midwife at Quirón Salud Valencia · Specialist in childbirth support
With almost two decades of experience as a nurse and midwife, Noelia has developed her work in leading hospitals such as La Fe. She is currently the coordinator of the delivery room service at the Quirón Salud Valencia Hospital, where she specializes in expert care and support for women.
Her work philosophy focuses on a clear objective: “to accompany mothers and make them feel safe in such a special moment.”
This professional vocation is combined with her own experience as a mother of four children, which gives her a comprehensive vision and unique empathy. Her passion for real and close support, both from team leadership and from her own motherhood, reinforces Happymami’s mission.
Noemi Belda
Hospital Midwife · Specialist in Respectful Childbirth and Breastfeeding
With a vocation for “the most beautiful profession in the world”, Noemi has dedicated more than a decade to accompanying families in large hospitals such as La Fe in Valencia and, mainly, in the Virgen de los Lirios Hospital in Alcoy. Her approach is enriched with key training in childbirth biomechanics and breastfeeding to empower the mother.
For her, the key is to unite scientific evidence with close and respectful care, ensuring that each family feels like a protagonist and their decisions are heard.
This philosophy became personal with the premature birth of her son Àlex, experiencing firsthand the challenges of mixed breastfeeding. Her success, achieving 15 months of breastfeeding with the support of Happymami, is real proof that it is possible to reconcile and protect the bond, an experience that she now pours into the team.
